Ministry in Denmark, Belgium, and Turkey Completed

Awesome! That is the simplest term to desribe the recent trip through these three countries of Europe and the Middle East. Copenhagen is a modern western city, know for its modernism and liberal lifestyle. However, there are numerous churches and leaders standing in the gap for revival. International City Baptist Church is one of the leading churches looking for change and served as our host for a church conference, Spitirual Empowerment 2009.

Sostah Muvuma and his family received our visit in Brussels with typical Belgian warmth. Pain de Vie (Bread of Life) in both Brussels and Mons are outgrowths of his passion for reaching the multi-racial and ethnic diversity of his country. We celebrated Pentecost with his church and spent some quality fellowship with their family, now boasting five children with the addition of Gabriel (3 months old). Recently, another congregation of 250 Romanians has joined their ranks with a Sunday night gathering in Brussels.

Turkey is filled with significant biblical history and antiquity. Carrie and I loved the people and the culture, but mostly the passionate VM members, Jeremy and Angie (last names witheld for security) who have spent the last two years igniting a prayer and worship renewal among expatriate and Turkish believers. Since there are still only 3000 Christians in the country, much work remains for outreach and church planting, but the prospects are positive! We had the privilege of speaking to 40 missionaries and workers on “Hitting Your Sweet Spot!” It seems to encourage and inspire many in attendance. Prophetic and prayer ministry offered edification and confirmation.  Watch for a video clip filmed at Perga, Turkey appearing soon on this website (Resources/Videos).

We are still recovering from the fas-paced schedule, but we are so encouraged how we see God at work in the nations! Press the battle!   Bobby and Carrie Hill
